Recently, CYG Vision successfully held a two-day training on DFMEA. We invited senior DFMEA experts in the industry to bring in-depth explanation and rich practical experience sharing for the team.

DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) is a systematic preventive method used to identify potential failure modes (i.e., ways in which a product may not work properly) at the product design stage, analyze their potential causes and consequences, and formulate measures to reduce the occurrence of these risks.

It is reported that this training is an important part of the company's quality management system, and the purpose of the training is to enable the participants to effectively apply the DFMEA methodology to their practical work, improve the reliability and quality of product design, reduce rework and costs in the product development cycle, and further enhance customer satisfaction and market competitiveness.

Employees from all relevant departments were invited to participate in the training, which covered the basics of DFMEA, risk assessment methods, and practical application cases.

On the first day of the training, everyone learned the basic concepts of DFMEA, the definition and purpose of DFMEA and its role in product quality management. They also learned how to identify the failure modes that may occur during the design or manufacturing process of a product and explore the potential causes of failure, including design defects, material problems, manufacturing process errors, etc., as well as determining the risk prioritization order.

On the second day, the training was conducted through interactive case lectures, in which everyone applied theoretical knowledge to practice and learned how to apply DFMEA tools in practice, and discussed in depth how to prevent the occurrence of failures or mitigate their impact through teamwork in cross-functional teams and formulate strategies to improve the ability to solve practical problems.

At the training site, everyone actively asked questions and exchanged ideas and gained a lot! After these two days of systematic learning, all the colleagues who participated in the training successfully passed the exam and got the DFMEA training certificate.

Everyone highly praised this training. They said that the training content is practical, the lecturer's explanation is clear, and the case analysis is in-depth, which greatly improved their knowledge and application ability of DFMEA tools, and they are looking forward to applying what they learned in their future work and contributing to the company's product quality and innovation.
